Beach Bums Only relax steps from the private Marina Village Beach,

The name says it all. This Cape Charles escape is designed for family and friends to get away. Beach Bums Only is a custom-built home approximately 100 yards from the Chesapeake Bay. Enjoy your beach vacation in the private, gated community of Marina Village East. Enjoy the community pool in New Quarter of Bay Creek while out exploring or enjoy the home's private pool overlooking the community lake. Enjoy the bay sunsets from the front decks or relax out back looking at your own pool, lake, and the Cape Charles lighthouse water tower in the distance.

Beach Bums Only has two bedrooms on the first floor with queen-sized beds and a full hall bath. There is another full bath on the second floor. The main living areas are also on the second floor to capitalize on views. There is a master on the second floor with two full-sized beds and the fourth bedroom has two sets of bunk beds with fulls on the bottom and twins up top. On the third floor, there is only a landing available for guests to spread out a bit. Kids will probably have fun hiding, looking down, and spying on the dining area below.

Spread out and enjoy the custom upgrades indoors or take advantage of the many decks to bum around outside.

This house was very comfortable for our family vacation. The property management was wonderful, there was not a blender in the house, we asked for one and got it the next day. The pool was an added plus, I just wish there was a few lounge chairs and also a small table by the grill to sit at and have snacks while the kids are swimming. All in all, you will not be disappointed, I would highly recommend this property.

My wife and I rented this house to spend a week in Cape Charles with my son, his wife and 2 grandchildren. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. It was clean, comfortable and the pool fit the bill for the grandchildren. A couple of things will make this house much better. The den only has a single couch that can seat at most 4 people. The house is advertised as accommodating 14 people. We had 4 adults and two grandchildren, and the seating was not enough when we gathered in that area. More comfortable seating is needed to make the area more comfortable. In addition, only one bedroom out of the four had a dresser. As a result, we had to keep clothes in our suitcases as the closets had few hangers to use. Other than these two areas, we enjoyed our stay.

Wonder house and location! Recommend for families because of the access to the beach, playground, down town etc. House was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with equipment, dishes etc. the only suggestion I have for the owners would be to have additional comfortable chairs in the living room (only had a couch). So while there are dining room hairs they are not comfortable for watching tv or just hanging with the family. Also, no place to put clothes in two of the bedrooms so had to put clothes on the floor.
